S3Sync Stopped wWorking

I've had S3Sync running successfully for several months, I just looked at the S3Sync cron job emails I I've found for the last fie days it's been failing with:

/home/xxx/s3sync/s3cmd.rb:144:in `s3cmdMain': undefined method `match' for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError)
       from /home/xxx/s3sync/s3cmd.rb:245

Any ideas?

It's hosted on Hostgator if that makes any difference...

Like some file or dir that used to be there is now gone?

Would help to see your command lines, and see an output with -d
