If you're on *NIX you should try "yes | s3cmd......"

yes just prints a bunch of y's....  Perfect for just this sort of thing.

If I add a file named .cvsignore with just a * in the file, rsync will exclude the folder.  Does s3sync support this exclusion method?  It really works great for folder like /home/me/.Trash/
