I have 20GB to upload for the initial backup. My ISP caps my upload speed at 65kB or at least thats how fast s3sync seems to be going ATM. Is there a public location I could go to that would have really fast upload for just a short amount of time? Maybe I should go to my uncle's business (they have business grade internet)... It's just family pictures, so nothing I'm worried about keeping a deadly secret, but i could always use certs anyhow.

any thoughts? surely other people have struggled with this?
